John T. Clery
Founder & Attorney
John obtained his undergraduate degree from University of Illinois and completed his law studies at The University of Dayton. He started practicing law in 1979 and opened John T. Clery P.C. in 1992 with the vision to make the real property buying and selling experience more enjoyable
While serving as Mayor of Hawthorn Woods from 1995-2001 he gained valuable knowledge about municipalities and zoning boards. This knowledge allows him to help clients effectively navigate real estate zoning issues. He has spent time teaching real estate broker classes and enjoys educating the public about protecting themselves in real estate transactions.
John enjoys going to concerts, sporting events and spending time with his family.

Michelle Ivanich
Legal Assistant

Michelle Ivanich has worked for John T. Clery P.C. for 18 years and is a lifelong resident of the Chicagoland area. Her strong work ethic and loyalty allows for effective and quality communication with our clients.
Michelle has an extensive knowledge of real estate law and she acts as a support source for our clients as they navigate the buying and selling process.
During her free time, Michelle enjoys music concerts and spending time with fur-babies that she adores.
